CHILDREN ENJOY FREE MEAL AND RIDES AS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS BEGIN

Inspire FM hosted its annual Winter Fair on Saturday 17 to Monday 19 December to support children on free school meals.
The 3-day event at St. George’s Square, Luton saw hundreds of children enjoy a hot healthy meal and fairground rides.
Station Operations Manager, Mohammad Tariq, said: “Inspire FM is dedicated to serving the community and supporting families in our town.
“We’re honoured to host the Winter Fair every year and bring smiles to children during the holidays.”
The event was in partnership with Active Luton, Energise Luton and D&G Amusements.
Emma Stevens, Assistant Director of Health and Wellbeing at Active Luton said: “We’re really pleased with how the Winter Fair has gone this year.
“We’ve had many families come and take advantage of the free hot meals and fairground rides.
“It’s lovely seeing the children smile and get excited to go on the rides.”
Inspire FM continued its community work with the wider public by giving out free hot food and drinks to passer-by’s as part of their ‘Be A Good Neighbour’ campaign.
The campaign saw 900 portions of biriyani, 960 pizza slices and 1,100 hot drinks given out to members of the public who were encouraged to look out for their neighbours.
The campaign was supported by EAE Tutoring and Akbar Property Group.
The food was kindly donated by local food outlets Gio’s Pizza, Kebab Bite and Fireway Luton.
